About Massage is Therapeutic

    Massage is Therapeutic is a Massage and Bodywork Therapy practice located in Gastonia, North Carolina, less than 30 minutes from Charlotte. Founded in 2014 by Nadine Johnson, LMBT., Massage is Therapeutic grew popular in it’s local community, and has been able to replicate this success since moving to Gastonia, NC in 2019.

Nadine has been a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT) since 2012 and a Certified Medical Massage Therapist since 2017. After working within several massage establishments for a few years, Johnson finally decided to venture off on her own launching the now well-renown Massage is Therapeutic. Johnson developed a passion for massage therapy and uses it to bring wellness and wholeness to each client.

Johnson works with her clients as a team, because, she believes massage is a team effort, between the therapist and the client. In her practice, Nadine Johnson specializes in pain relief through therapeutic, trigger point and deep tissue massage, but do offer a variety of massage and body work services, which will help you to achieve overall balance.  

At Massage is Therapeutic, our primary goal is to bring wholeness to each of our clients’ body. We believe that the body can heal itself and that massage therapy, helps the body perform this healing process by restoring health and bringing the body to a state of overall wellbeing.
